As of May 2014, it is part of the Building Code that all new dwellings have inter-connected smoke alarms if there is more than one in the building. Aside from smoke alarms, fire blankets are recommended to be kept close to the kitchen, as well as a fire extinguisher which is easy to access, should it be required. Your purchases will usually arrive between 5-6 business days of our receiving your order. However, if you live in remote areas of Australia this may take between 7-10 business days.
