You are permitted to use this material only as expressly authorised by us. You acknowledge and agree that the material and content contained within this website is made available for your personal non-commercial use only and that you may only download such material and content for the purpose of using this website. You further acknowledge that any other use of the material and content of this website is strictly prohibited and you agree not to (and agree not to assist or facilitate any third party to) copy, reproduce, transmit, publish, display, distribute, commercially exploit or create derivative works of such material and content.

Billing

All payment transaction will occur over PayPal express checkout facility.

Currency

All products and shipping prices quoted on the website are in Australian Dollars (AUD). All transactions are settled in Australian Dollars.

GST and Taxes

All purchases delivered to an Australian postcode incur the standard Government Goods and Service Tax (GST). All prices quoted online include GST.

Delivery

This website is only for delivery of products to customers in Australia. We cannot deliver outside of Australia. Your order will be processed within 1-2 days and will normally take between 5-7 business days to reach you. We make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated timescales, however delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors. homesafetystore.com.au shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the products within estimated timescales. Risk of loss and damage of products passes to you on the date when the products are delivered or on the date of first attempted delivery by us. For multiple orders being sent to the same person at the same address, we reserve the right to combine orders into a smaller number of shipments.

Shipping and order tracking

homesafetystore.com.au will deliver to any Australian address. Be sure to provide a valid shipping address, homesafetystore.com.au is not responsible for lost packages that have been successfully delivered. Orders will be dispatched within 2 working days and shipping times are estimated between 5-7 business days depending on your location within Australia. If we cannot process your order or the products are unavailable then you will be informed within 2 working days. Please note, we cannot accept responsibility for delays in delivery due to unforeseen circumstance such as natural disaster, strike, transport complications etc.

A tracking number will be issued via email to the email address you provide which will enable you to track the progress of your parcel.

Product Returns

homesafetystore.com.au does NOT have a change of mind policy. However in some circumstances, management may consider a return as long as the following conditions are met:

  • You return the item within 14 days of purchase;
  • You produce your original Home Safety Store invoice/proof of purchase at the time you return the item
  • The item is in re-saleable condition including that:
    • It is in its original packaging, including instruction manuals and all accessories;
    • It is unworn, unopened, unused and in its original condition;

The decision to accept a return will be made by the Home Safety Store management. A restocking fee will apply at our discretion.

Cancellations and Substitutions

In the unlikely event that you receive faulty or damaged goods, please refer to our warranty section. Sometimes the product specifications from the manufacturer may change, in which case we will do our best to offer you a similar alternative. We may experience problems with the supply of certain products and may therefore supply a substitute of the same or better quality at the same price. Where applicable, you may cancel your order in accordance with your consumer rights. All sizes and measurements are approximate but we do try to make sure that they are as accurate as possible.

Cancellation by Home Safety Store: Home Safety Store reserves the right to cancel any order.

Cancellation by Purchaser: Should you wish to cancel an order after payment has been accepted, please contact Home Safety Store by support@homesafetystore.com.au within 24 hours. If you cancel the order after is has been shipped, freight charges will not be refunded. Cancellations after this time will be at the sole discretion of Home Safety Store.

Liability and Indemnity

Home Safety Store will use reasonable endeavours to verify the accuracy of any information on the site but makes no representation or warranty of any kind, express or implied, statutory or otherwise, regarding the contents or availability of the site or that it will be timely or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs or represents the full functionality, accuracy, reliability of the website. Home Safety Store will not be responsible or liable to you for any loss of content or material uploaded or transmitted through the website and Home Safety Store accepts no liability of any kind for any loss or damage from action taken or taken in reliance on material or information contained on the site. Subject to the above, other than as expressly provided in these terms and conditions with respect to specific products and except for the exclusive remedies set out above, any indemnities, warranties, terms and conditions (whether express or implied) are hereby excluded to the fullest extent permitted under applicable law. Subject to the above, Home Safety Store will not be liable for any:

  • economic losses; or
  • loss of goodwill or reputation; or
  • special or indirect losses;

suffered or incurred by that party arising out of or in connection with the provisions of any matter under these terms and conditions.

This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, nor does it affect your contract cancellation rights. We will take all reasonable precautions to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but, unless we are negligent, we cannot be held liable for any losses caused as a result of unauthorised access to information provided by you.

Reconditioned Goods:

  • Reconditioned products are second hand which may have been returned as faulty.
  • A Home Safety Store technician has inspected & repaired the product to full working condition.
  • Minor cosmetic scratches, dents & normal wear and tear may be present, however our Technician has restored it to as new as possible.
  • 3 month warranty applies to all Reconditioned Goods.

Ex-display Goods:

  • Ex-Display products have been used in showrooms.
  • Minor cosmetic scratches, dents & normal wear and tear may be present, however our Technician has restored it to as new as possible.
  • 3 month warranty applies to all Ex-Display Goods.

End of Line Goods:

  • End of Line goods are still new and in its original packaging.
  • The product has been discontinued or superseded.
  • They have been reduced to clear.
  • These products will not be available in retail stores.
  • 3 month warranty applies to all End of Line goods.
  • We may not have serviceable or replaceable parts for End of Line Goods.
